Capricorn Full Moon 11th July 2025
This Full Moon, as with any astrology event that occurs in the Saturn ruled sign of Capricorn will bring with it a feeling of heaviness and melancholy, burdened by duty, responsibility and hard work and for some, accolades for a job well done after much effort.
Capricorn is a sign that reaches the top after many trials, tribulations, setbacks and arduous effort. Many people that I have read Astrology for that have a strong emphasis in Capricorn in their natal chart have had to overcome some hefty life challenges and have really put in the work to overcome them and turn their life around. Capricorn can be a resilient strong sign but at the same time suffer from chronic negativity and generally think everything is fucked and everybody sucks. Once a Capricorn can get drop the bullshit pessimistic attitude, stop playing the victim and do the work, there is nothing they can’t achieve.
A Full Moon in Capricorn can highlight any government shenanigans and the authority figures in our life. It can bring realisations about where you haven’t been showing enough responsibility in your life and what we need to do to correct this.
The Full Moon will occur at 18 degrees of Capricorn and Jupiter will be opposite the Full Moon. Jupiter generally brings a stroke of luck, optimism, prosperity and a strong sense of faith but because Jupiter is opposite the Full Moon we might find our faith is tested and realise if we really want to make something of ourselves we need to get up off our arse and work because it’s not very often we get want we want by sitting around doing nothing and complaining about how unfair this life is.
The ruling planet of this Full Moon is Saturn and Saturn is at 1 degree of Aries, about to turn retrograde which will happen on the 13th and is conjunct Neptune who recently turned retrograde. When a planet changes directions, it usually brings a twist of fate or change in circumstance. So, whatever this Full Moon brings to light will put you on another path and shift your perspective to do things differently. Mercury is also slowly down to turn retrograde around the time of the Full Moon adding to the power of change. I also believe that when a planet changes directions, the events and themes that get brought up can feel like we have no power or control in the flow of events and reminds me that I’m not in control of everything and all I can do is accept what is happening and let go of control and just go with the flow.
The general Astrology of this year is about doors beginning to close and new ones opening and this Full Moon will be another piece and turning point to that story.
