I’m just going to say straight up that this Cancer New Moon is one of the best New Moons we have had for a while!
It will occur at 4 degrees of Cancer on the 25th June at 8:31pm Sydney time and will really light a fuse to Jupiter’s incredibly fertile 12-month transit of Cancer.
This Cancer New Moon will be closely conjunct Jupiter who has all the power and support to grace the New Moon with a plethora of prosperity, growth and opportunity. This is because Jupiter is exalted in Cancer. When a planet is considered exalted in Astrology it is held with great regard and treated like a king which grants the planet all the power in the world to express its natural significations. Jupiter is basically living the dream in Cancer and can easily show its more generous and abundant nature which also includes luck, wisdom and knowledge. The only after thought to add to this is Jupiter has recently come out of a conjunction with the Sun which means Jupiter has been burnt up and purified by the Sun and is still not visible in the sky which can mean that what ever kicks off for you now will not bear it’s fruits until a later date and a lot of work that is not visible to everyone else will have to happen first.
The ruler of the New Moon is the Moon and with the Moon being in her own sign of Cancer she will reinforce Cancer themes like Nutrition, home, family, sensitivity, stomach and food.
When it comes to the more challenging planets interacting with the New Moon that include Mars and Saturn, they won’t have too much power to ruin everything. Mars more so than Saturn will be able to offer practical and methodical energy to kick off this new cycle instead of the usual sudden upsets and chaos. This is because Mars will be looking at the New Moon with a supportive sextile aspect from the pragmatic and organised sign of Virgo. Saturn and Neptune in Aries will be looking at the New Moon with a close square aspect and will be in overcoming position (which is a technical term for when a planet looks at another planet from the earlier zodiacal position and therefore has more say in how the connection plays out). This at first look concerning but all main players in the New Moon are moving away from Saturn and Neptune indicating that after some possible hesitation, battles, confusion, fears and barriers the goods will eventually come. Or there can be a fuck you life moment that sets you on a new path that eventually works out in your favour
Mercury will be in Cancer also at the time of the New Moon and will be in preparation mode to change signs and move into Leo a couple of days later. Mercury will be moving into a sextile aspect with Uranus in Taurus who is preparing to change signs indicating that this New Moon is pushing us into a new era. Jupiter just coming out of being burnt up and spat out all new from the Sun is also an indicator of the beginning of a new era.
In general, this New Moon has a lot of promise but it can come with some set backs or delays that will eventually turn out prosperous.
